After a beautiful ceremony on a frosty January afternoon, Kim and Ivan decided to warm up at the historic Rutherford House at the University of Alberta. The happy couple had met and first started to date in their university years so it was only fitting that they incorporated this location into their wedding day. Kim and Ivan, along with their parents and the Bridal Party, were served a delicious high tea menu at the intimate Arbour Restaurant located at the Rutherford house. Here are a few pics from this beautiful event!

Melissa had always dreamed of a “Winter Wonderland” wedding. She had secured a January date well in advance, had all her outdoor locations scouted out, even got the cute white furry cape … There was only one problem: there was no snow! We have been experiencing unusually warm temperatures and this year, we’ve had our first snow-less Christmas…
So when Melissa and Mike drove up to the St. John Bosco church to exchange their vows, the outside looked like this: (not quite “Winter Wonderland-y”)
But of course the ceremony got on it’s way and everybody witnessed this beautiful couple exchange their I do’s. While at church, everyone gathered there prayed.
They prayed for the couple, for their unquestionable, lasting love for one another…
They also prayed for snow.
Did I mention that they also prayed for SNOW????
And we all know that the Bride’s wishes always come true on her wedding day!
Congratulations Melissa and Mike, thank you for making us a part of your SNOWY day!
